Twitter has recently rolled out a brand-new profile redesign to the masses and we are here today to break it down for you so that you become familiar not only with the design itself but also what this could do for you.
Twitter has taken a page from the Facebook handbook, meaning that the layout is reminiscent of the newsfeed you’re accustomed to seeing on your other favorite social media site. Users will now have the ability to “pin” a tweet to the top of their profiles and an easier way of searching through photos and videos you’ve already uploaded to Twitter. You can now also view someone’s profile by their tweets or their tweets with replies.
Calling the changes a “whole new you,” Twitter hopes to draw in more users with its fun, user-friendly features. First lady Michelle Obama, actress Kerry Washington, and the band Weezer were some of the first to try out the new Twitter, which will soon be available for everyone.
To get optimal results, upload a profile photo that measures 400 x 400 pixels and your cover photo should be 1400 x 500 pixels. You can grab the new design here.
